Learn to Solder | Intro to DIY audio

Service Description

Soldering irons, solder and Printed Circuit Boards(PCBs) are a foundational tools in the toolkit of anyone interested in starting with DIY electronics, circuit making, bending, design, etc. For anyone who would like a hands-on introduction to getting started we're happy to offer this session in which learners will be set up in our workshop with a solder station, and a simple DIY kit instument/device(such as a mini-piano, lo-fi recorder, etc) to practice populating a circuit board with components and soldering them into place. We'll go over safety, technique and all the associated bits and bobs and then step back, let you work and be on hand for support as you finish soldering your first project. Available kit/practice circuit may vary based on availability so feel free to reach out to ask what we have in stock at the moment.
